Lab Grown Diamonds at Met Gala 2024: Celebrities from Ed Sheeran to Pamela Anderson

When it comes to elite and luxurious events, lab grown diamonds are becoming the new norm, stealing the public eye and putting the focus on them – even if most beautiful actresses are wearing them. This just happened at the Met Gala 2024 event as many A-listers were seen wearing lab grown diamonds. 

One of them was ethical fashion pioneer Stella McCartney. She used this perfect occasion to announce her lab grown diamond collaboration with VRAI. VRAI is the D2C jewellery line from the Diamond Foundry. 

Stella also made the most out of the situation as she went to give her most precious collection to her guests Ed Sheeran, Cara Delevigne and FKA Twigs as also the company claims that it emits zero-emissions. 

Cara Delevigne, is the new face of 2024 McCartney’s Spring campaign. Where she wore a recycled specially designed dress which was a recycled fabric skirt with a hooded bodice crafted from VRAI’s lab grown diamond with matching cuffs and ring. 

Fellow guest and very famous singer Ed Sheeran and his wife also wore lab grown diamonds. Ed Sheeran wore VRAI’s lab grown diamonds’ cufflinks. And Ed Sheeran’s wife Cherry chose to wear lab grown diamonds’ necklace and bracelets by VRAI.

Then comes the singer FKA Twigs who went all blazing with lab grown diamonds’ jewels across her neck, ear, hands, and even across her throat. But she does not stop here, even her crop and pants were fitted with lab grown diamonds. 

Now comes Eva Chen who decides to wear her very dramatic Robert Wun Couture gown (inspired by Disney Beauty and the Beast). She also wore black and white specially designed lab grown gemstone earrings by Anabela Chan.

The most special and extremely noticeable was the black and white lab grown earrings which spelt the Morse code meaning a hidden message as the ‘Garden and Time’ which was also the theme of the event.

Adding more star power! Joining the red carpet fun were celebrities like model Hari Nef and singer Lizzo. Nef sparkled in Anabela Chan’s lab grown diamond earrings, while Lizzo rocked a head-turning ring and earrings combo featuring Chan’s unique Canary Peony Butterfly design, all crafted with lab grown gems.

Finally, the former supermodel Pamela Anderson made a very fashionable comeback as her first-time debut at the Met Gala. She did not wear any gorgeous gown but it was adorned with custom-designed necklaces and Pandora’s pink lab grown diamonds. Around 200 pink lab grown diamonds. And it was beautifully wrapped around her shoulders and collarbone. She is also the Ambassador of Pandora’s lab grown diamonds.
