Misleading campaigns designed to damage the market perception of Lab Grown Diamonds are not uncommon. Yet, disappointingly, there’s been no unified, educated response to these deceptive techniques. We’ve long discussed the necessity for consumer education and for the industry to unite on creating comprehensive consumer education campaigns.
Despite the need for it, there’s been minimal movement towards consumer education.
The equation is simple yet alarming:
Lack of consumer education + Maliciously targeted campaigns = Low consumer confidence and market confusion.
The Growth of Lab Grown Diamonds has been phenomenal in the last few years.
But, what got us here, most likely won’t take us to the next chapter in the growth story.
So, the BIG question again: Who takes the lead in bringing everyone together to write the next chapter in the world of Lab Grown Diamonds?
